Crestwood Village ordinance prohibits parking on ANY village streets between 2:00 a.m. and 6:00a.m. The reason for this ordinance is so Police will be alerted to abandoned vehicles or suspicious vehicles that require investigations. This ordinance also ensures that all streets throughout the Village will be open to fire and rescue equipment in the event of an overnight emergency. This is especially necessary in areas where narrow streets can block large fire trucks. We will continue to enforce this ordinance. Please use our new online system www.frontlinepss.com/crestwood to request a specific request for exception. Limited requests per resident. Thank You for your cooperation with this ordinance. The initial fine for this violation is $75.00. This is a Village wide ordinance. PLEASE BE SURE THAT YOUR LATE NIGHT AND OVERNIGHT GUESTS ARE MADE AWARE OF THIS AS WELL!

Due to vacations, illness, equipment breakdown, etc.., Allied may not always arrive at your home at the same time each week, please be prepared and please be patient. Also, please remove cans from the street promptly. See the Garbage Information Tab above for more information and schedules.

Crestwood Mayor Leads in Holiday Cheer

An important goal of Mayor Lou and Village Services Director Bill Graffeo was to bring good tidings to some less fortunate families in Crestwood and to children in hospitals. They accomplished this goal by the hefty amount of donations they brought in for the 5th year. Mayor Said “I Love the Holidays, family, friends and sharing good will to all. I hope my actions bring holiday cheer to all!”

These administrators pulled together the resources along with their shopping skills to deliver a huge hall of gifts for all ages to enjoy this Christmas. Just one more way that these gentleman serve the village to their best of their ability to make Crestwood a great town to live in.

The toys that were donated went to the following organizations: Bremen Township, The Pediatric Oncology Treasure Chest Foundation, and Worth Township.

A Big Thanks again to everyone that donated. Happy Holidays to All!

The annual Village of Crestwood Christmas Basket Collection will begin December 1 2017, and will continue through December 18, 2017.  Our Christmas Basket collection strives to help low-income individuals, families and seniors in need within the Village.

Residents can donate non-perishable food items such as rice, peanut butter, jelly, soup, canned fruit or vegetables, juice and pasta. Please be aware of expiration dates on food.

Donations can be dropped off at the Clerk’s office at Village Hall located at 13840 S. Cicero Ave.  If you are in need or know of a family in need please contact the Clerk’s Office at 371-4800.  We will be accepting names until December 11, 2017.

We have received many generous donations from residents and local businesses which have provided a delicious Christmas dinner for many that otherwise wouldn’t have one.  Our Village Officials and Public Works Department will deliver the food to families the week of Christmas. We hope area residents and businesses will help us provide as many needy families as possible with a Holiday Meal. Your help is greatly appreciated!
