What a great opportunity! Free training for you and your employees. The Illinois Liquor Control Commission (ILCC), along with Mayor McLaughlin and the Southwest Conference of Mayors, is offering an educational seminar to be presented by the ILCC. The seminar will be held on Thursday, May 8th, 2014 from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. at the Orland Park Civic Center, 14750 South Ravinia Avenue.
Members of the ILCC legal staff and investigations team will be speaking about state laws and new legislation as well as routine inspection procedures and common violations. A representative from the Secretary of State’s office will also present a session on Operation Straight ID. The seminar, with stress placed on the importance of carding and the prevention of over-serving, is applicable for owners, managers and staff. There will also be time for questions and concerns.
This offering provides an excellent opportunity to further educate your employees on responsibly serving and selling alcohol. You are encouraged to have your staff attend the May 8th educational seminar. Make certain that your employees are prepared for every situation that may come up.
